Toys for Tots & Adopt a Family
Rivertown participated in Toys For Tots and Adopt A Family at the end of 2012. We had over 130 toys and donated over $700 to multiple families!

Susan G. Komen - Breast Cancer Awareness

From September 1st thru October 31st, we came together and raised money for this wonderful cause. By selling T-Shirts, bracelets, and drawing tickets, we were able to donate over $1000! 

4th of July Parade
Last year we participated in our first ever parade that took place in Grandville. It was a huge success despite the intense heat; we went through 20,000 pieces of candy!

2013

$1000 Scholarships to 4 High Schools
On April 11th, after three months of accepting applications, we read through over 20 recipient responses from Grandville High School, Godwin Heights High School and Comstock Park High School. Each application had a different story to tell in their essays, and it was inspiring to read each one.

We are very excited to award this scholarship to the following:

• Madison Johnson - Grandville High School
• Amy Johnson-Esch - Godwin Heights High School
• Shelby Waldhart - Comstock Park High School
• Rafael Martinez - Wyoming High School

March of Dimes
With the help of our generous membership, we came together as a community to raise money for March of Dimes, March for Babies. This year we set our goal high to challenge ourselves to raise more than we ever have, and we met that goal. Through bake sales, selling t-shirts and dye-cuts, to donations-our community brought in just over $1366!
