Telephone Banking - "SARA"

Get account balances, transfer funds within your accounts, check deposits and withdrawals, and more, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To activate Telephone Banking for your account, simply call the credit union and request it. Once you've gained access, you can reach the service locally by dialing 616.531.7163 or toll-free 800.428.8285.

Money Orders

Express money orders are available in any amount up to $1,000.00. All retirees receive five (5) free money orders per month when they are enrolled in direct deposit or have a loan with the credit union.

Cashier Checks

A minimal fee is charged for additional checks. Cashier checks must be made payable at the time of purchase.

Notary Service

We provide free notary service to our members.

Direct Deposit/Payroll Deduction

If your employer participates, or if you are the recipient of a regular government or pension check, you can have it directly deposited into a credit union account. This free service will enable you to get your funds more quickly and will put the money into your account so it earns dividends right away. Direct Deposit is a safer and more secure option because no check has to be printed and mailed.

Direct Deposit Form

Payroll Deduction enables you to authorize your employer to send any portion of your paycheck directly to your credit union accounts every payday. This can be a convenient way to save or to pay back loans automatically.
 

Wire Transfer

A wire transfer is a fast, convenient way for members to transfer funds from their Rivertown CFCU account to another financial institution. Transfers requested before 2:00pm will be processed that day and the receiving party will have access to the money within a few hours. And by completing a Wire Transfer Request Agreement you will be able to request transfers over the phone, no need to visit a branch.

You must provide the originating financial institution with the following wire information.

For Outgoing Wire Transfers from Rivertown CFCU (excluding International Wires)
You must contact the receiving financial institution and request its wire instructions, which must include the following: 

  • The receiving financial institution's name.
  • The receiving financial institution's address, city, state, and telephone number.
  • The receiving financial institution's nine digit ABA number or routing and transit number.
  • The name, address, and account number of the receiving party.
