Welcome to Rivertown Community Federal Credit Union’s website. Service and trust are crucial elements in choosing your financial institution. Part of earning that trust is making it easy for you to get to know us. That's why it's important that we tell you a little about ourselves.
As one of the area’s top ten credit unions, Rivertown Community Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution owned and operated by its members. Rivertown serves more than 10,000 members from three offices in Grandville, Wyoming, and Comstock Park.
Organized in 1949, Rivertown (Formerly Stampers Federal Credit Union) was formed as a place to invest and save for the employees of the General Motors Corporation, Grand Rapids Stamping Division. In May 1986, after a merger with NorthEnd Federal Credit Union, Rivertown added its Northend Branch in Comstock Park, MI. The credit union opened it's doors to our third branch in Grandville and started serving the entire community of Kent County in 2004.
"Rivertown Community Federal Credit Union strives for exemplary member/credit union relationships by providing unconditional service to meet members financial needs.”
Our number one goal; to improve the economic and social well being of all members by encouraging thrift through savings and providing loans and other services while building financial strength for the credit union to ensure continued service to our membership.
Membership is open to persons who live, work, worship, or attend school in Kent County. Membership is also open to the spouse, children, siblings, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, stepparents, stepchildren, stepsiblings, adoptive relationships, or any person living in the same residence and maintaining a single economic unit of a current member.
